Back Story
As the largest financial switch in South Africa our client provides auditing and protection
between banks and organisations wishing to transact. Our client partnered with ReportStar
Technologies to provide PCI compliance architectures and secure Virtual Private Network
connectivity in their Data centers. This was required for both between the client’s branches
and between the client and their customers in order to facilitate switching of transactions.

Action Taken
In addition to PCI security and segmentation requirements our clients require 24x7x365
dual path connectivity and redundancy on all systems since uptime to switch transactions
at any time is paramount. ReportStar Technologies expert network design along with
logical and physical redundant solutions provide multiple failover methods by using state of
the art clustering and dynamic routing protocols (like BGP/Clustering/HSRP via various
MPLS and direct fibre solutions) in Johannesburg, Cape Town and other regions.
